We junked our WiFi last week and installed an ethernet over power lines. It
is fantastic. Just plug in anywhere in building and you get full BW - we
have 12 meg service to building and there is no wait anywhere.
The only problem is that if you have isolation transformers between hub and
receiver it quits which is great from our vantage point.
So we don't have to worry about snooper trying to use our system.
Install is nice and easy. Have not thought about a larger installation and
scale considerations.
