Hi all,

With xsane on 6.4 Beta 2, I'm getting the following while trying to
launch it:

$ xsane
Xlib: extension "RANDR" missing on display ":0.0".

(xsane:4267): Gtk-WARNING **: GtkSpinButton: setting an adjustment with
non-zero page size is deprecated

(xsane:4267): Gtk-WARNING **: GtkSpinButton: setting an adjustment with
non-zero page size is deprecated

Gdk-ERROR **: The program 'xsane' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
   (Details: serial 17813 error_code 8 request_code 140 minor_code 5)
   (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
    that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
    To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
    option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
    backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error()
function.)
aborting...
Aborted

To me, this looks more like an X issue - but as I'm only just putting EL
on a desktop (after many years as a server OS), I'm starting to come
across things I've never encountered before.

The following packages are installed:
# rpm -qa | grep sane
xsane-common-0.997-8.el6.x86_64
sane-frontends-1.0.14-9.2.el6.x86_64
sane-backends-libs-gphoto2-1.0.21-3.el6.x86_64
sane-backends-1.0.21-3.el6.x86_64
sane-backends-libs-1.0.21-3.el6.x86_64
xsane-0.997-8.el6.x86_64
libsane-hpaio-3.12.4-4.el6.x86_64

Thoughts? Is this another bug to upstream?
