We've been using it for a while and have been fairly happy with it.  As others 
have said, it is a big community and lots of support.

Our issue in a mixed environment is that the puppet master must always be a 
newer version than the agents.  This has been tricky with maintaining a mix of 
EL and Fedora clients.  Keeping in sync with ruby versions has been tricky too 
for the Fedora and EPEL puppet packages.

I've wanted to look at ansible for a while, which is agentless (via ssh).
