Out of date skew is not necessarily expected, but unsurprising, if you
stay at an old release. Security updates that were published for SL
5.1 or SL 5.2 could be in the security updates channel, . Why aren't
you updated to SL 5.8, which is being actively maintained and has
openmpi-1.4.4 ?
