Hi! I wish you the greatest luck in your little project. SGI forever!

While I am sure there is great theoretical interest in non-x86 ports
of SL (and siblings), I can see how there is no practical interest
in the IA-64 port because IA-64 hardware is not generally available.

(We do have IA-64 machines at TRIUMF, but they run VMS, of all things.
They are part of the control system of our 500-MeV/c proton cyclotron,
replacing ALPHA VMS machines, replacing VAX VMS machines).
