I would do:
1. Disable Rpmforge Extras, it overwrites Base and causing this kind of 
problems
2. Manually uninstall that RPM and install the EL6 one:
rpm -e --nodeps syslinux-4.05-1.el6.rfx.x86_64
yum install syslinux-extlinux
