You might want to have a look at the (non-official) Chromium packages
for Fedora built by Spot:

http://repos.fedorapeople.org/repos/spot/chromium-stable/

I doubt they can be installed (or rebuilt) for RHEL, but this is
probably the best start for proper Chromium packages.
