Hi,

Today came a new kernel update (2.6.32-279.1.1.el6). Since then, my
wireless works weird and keeps dropping the connection.

System:
SL 6.2 x64 up-to-date

Hardware:
0b:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG
[Golan] Network Connection (rev 02)

Module remove and reload doesn't help. I also had a kernel panic after
the first reboot with the new kernel a couple of minutes later.
Couldn't find any trace of it in the kernel log though, so I can't post
it here. And also I've never had any kind of problem with this very
hardware since SL 6.2 beta.

$ lsmod | grep -i iw
iwl3945 74625 0
iwl_legacy 72808 1 iwl3945
mac80211 213575 2 iwl3945,iwl_legacy
cfg80211 188399 3 iwl3945,iwl_legacy,mac80211

Any idea for a resolution?

Thanks,
Andras
