I recently bought a QNAS box, and am learning my way around it. I can
manually copy files there, but I'm having no success in setting up
replication. In the log files on the SL6 box that I want to talk to
the QNAS, I find

polkit-1:
    Unknown Entries:
       authentication failure; logname= uid=500 euid=0 tty= ruser=anne
rhost=  user=anne: 3 Time(s)

500 is my uid. User anne has access to the files in question, and I
definitely gave the correct password. What could be causing this
problem, and what should I do to correct it?

Anne
