Try to check your repositories. I have
'http://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/$releasever/$basearch/os/'
as sl and 'http://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/$releasever/$basearch/updates/security/'
as security. And it's 6.1, not 6.2 beta.

AFAIK, 6rolling is linked to 6.2 beta now, which isn't suitable for
production use. Check your /etc/yum.repos.d/sl.repo file.
