Yea your quite wrong there:
~]$ rpm -q --queryformat="%{NAME}: %{OPTFLAGS}\n" gnome-desktop
gnome-desktop: -O2 -g -pipe -Wall -Wp,-D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 -fexceptions
-fstack-protector --param=ssp-buffer-size=4 -m64 -mtune=generic
That's for x86_64 Gnome Desktop...Your GD may be a lil different..:-) There are
other way that exist to do so also. 'GLOBAL'
About your pictorial drawing I think a few know what you mean.
