Dear Scientific Linux Developers,

the SL6.2 gcc contains a fix for 
http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=48597, an issue that made 
igprof crash under SL 6 for our users.

For this fix to be fully effective, at least glibc needs to be build 
with the new gcc. I am not sure whether this has been done for SL6.2, so 
I want to make you aware of this requirement. Unfortunately this 
requirement is not explicit in the glibc SPEC file.
