Okay, thanks, this now works for me!

and since the version number didn't change above I think the command
that is needed is (depending on your yum setup):
   yum -y --disablerepo=sl-security --enablerepo=sl-testing update nfs-utils

# rpm -qi nfs-utils
Name        : nfs-utils        Relocations: (not relocatable)
Version     : 1.2.3                 Vendor: (none)
Release     : 15.el6            Build Date: Wed 14 Dec 2011 07:17:13
...
