In order to help troubleshoot, could you please provide some more 
information. Please install kmod-nvidia and see if you can boot to 
runlevel 3 and provide the following information (output from the 
following commands):

uname -a
find /lib/modules -name nvidia.ko
cat /boot/grub/grub.conf
