Hi,
We talked about this and decided to press on with that kernel.  The 
kernel doesn't prevent you from using NFS, it is just slow.
My recommendation is to press forward with the standard release.  If 
RedHat gives us an updated kernel, put it in and give it lots of tests. 
  If they don't, release it with the kernel that RedHat has.

I don't think it will be too much of a show stopper.  People can, and 
should, update their kernel after installing anyway.
