Sorry for the response delay, I was in vacations.
Yes, my repo can be used alongside with EPEL. In fact, packages
have been build with EPEL enabled for dependencies solving.
I've wrote a short document about my repo here:

In short, you can use XFCE from EPEL without problems as all my
packages are superseded by those from EPEL...
