i gave up on trying to figure out why the h$$$ my usb keeps on dying.
And decided to recompile the kernel with modular usb.
well, here i was for a big surprise. My attempt to to DL the archive
from kernel and recompile failed due to some odd errors. Now i started
to look around and it appears that to get the kernel to compile i need
to get kernel-devel.srpm ....

well, i did that, installed it and after about 4 screens into
kernel.spec is feeling very blue...
Here comes the question:
so how do i modify the kernel and recompile it in SL6?

Thank you
Andrew
