I can confirm the problem. Using the same VMWare WS guest that had
been successfully used to install SL6.1 multiple times, I attempted to
do the same installs (1GB RAM) except that partitioning was done
manually with NO swap.
The installation crashed after the 'package installation completed'
step. I did this once with the "Desktop" type (1090 pkgs), another
time with "Minimal" (244 pkgs).
The error message was:
Anaconda died after receiving signal 9.
install exited abnormally [1/1]
I have not checked if this is a known issue upstream.
