Agreed. Yet another "works great on the author's laptop" product. It's main feature
is to stop the network when the user logs out. Great for servers.

Yes, I did so, but I do not see the usual GUI. system-config-network starts some
kind of erzatzprodukt text ui. Where is the old GUI?

I guess I will go and write a perl script to populate the ifcfg-ethX scripts directly...
