Thank you very much. That's what I was looking for. I am primarily a
Slackware user and remain unfamiliar with rpm-based GNU/Linux but I am
intrigued by Scientific Linux and want to learn more.

What I mean is, while running setup I have a choice of extra
repositories to enable. SL 6 is already enabled, and then there is an
option to enable SL 6 - x86_64 as well. I was wondering if this is
something I should enable in addition to the first one. I am running
SL 6 x86_64.
