Hi All,
I'm having trouble with aspell on a RH5.5 system.
I have a small test file called j54
junk[pavo]rahm: cat j54
oone one two
colour
junk[pavo]rahm: aspell -c j54
Error: No word lists can be found for the language "en_US".
Let's try British spelling:
junk[pavo]rahm: env LANG=en_GB aspell -c j54
Error: No word lists can be found for the language "en_GB".
I find that a lot of the files listed by rpm -qil aspell-en do exist
on my system.
eg
junk[pavo]rahm: rpm -qil aspell-en | tail -3
/usr/lib/aspell-0.60/english-w_accents.alias
/usr/lib/aspell-0.60/english-wo_accents.alias
/usr/lib/aspell-0.60/english.alias
junk[pavo]rahm: ls -al /usr/lib/aspell-0.60/english-w_accents.alias
/usr/lib/aspell-0.60/english-wo_accents.alias
/usr/lib/aspell-0.60/english.alias
ls: /usr/lib/aspell-0.60/english-w_accents.alias: No such file or
directory
ls: /usr/lib/aspell-0.60/english-wo_accents.alias: No such file or
directory
ls: /usr/lib/aspell-0.60/english.alias: No such file or directory
The top bit of the rpm -qil listing is:
junk[pavo]rahm: rpm -qil aspell-en | head -15
