Thanks for this SL-61 Alpha 1 Release and thanks also to Shawn Thompson for the nice artwork!

I tested a SL-61 desktop installation 
- in a VirtualBox with SL-61-i386-2011-05-31-Install-DVD.iso : result ok
- via a SL-60 i386 boot iso and http install : result ok

Small remark: could you check the SHA256SUM files?  I think there are not the good ones.
