On installing SL 6.0 with a kickstart file, I notice that it
does try to resolve ftp.scientificlinux.org and looks for
security updates. Within an environment where http connects
are only available through a proxy, this hangs the installer
for some time until it continues normally.

How can I disable the connection to ftp.scientificlinux.org?
Where is this change to original Red Hat done within source rpms?

(Sorry if this is posted to early to the mailinglist, I haven't
looked into details of this yet. Maybe someone else knows the right
info points for this?)

greetings,

Florian La Roche
