Seeing that CentOS is taking forever with their 6.0, I actually
evaluated SL6 for a virtual server appliance my school board has been
setting up, and it really is a pretty good distribution! Making a good
Linux distro sorta ''is'' rocket science :>

Though the one thing that kinda puts me off is the default artwork.
While it is easy to fix that post-install, I really think that SL
could use a nice shiny new identity out of the box, maybe in time for
6.1? And maybe a new theme for the site to go along with it too.

I actually did have some pretty cute ideas for a direction we could go
in (we'd keep some sort of atom symbol as the logo of course), like
maybe a motif based off the Periodic table, or maybe fission, or
something else based off science?

Think this could be a good idea?
