Dear SL developers,

About 1 in 10 times booting a KVM Virtual machine of Centos 5 with SL6
fails, the VM does not detect the virtual hard drive.

I did some googling around for the cause and it seems the BIOS provided
with SL6/RHEL6 KVM has an issue (race condition) with the kernel in
Centos 5/RHEL 5.

At the moment I am not deploying this on many machines so I simply
installed the SL6 kernel on Centos 5 and the issue is resolved for my
hudson build / test system.

I must make it clear that I have not verified this with SL5 yet. If
this is a high enough priority issue for others too I could look into
it more, but for my current use the workaround I mentioned with SL6
kernels is enough for my use.

Regards

Owen
