RHEL (therefore SL) is based on Fedora but would not have all packages
from there. You may want to check 3rd party repositories such as
RPMForge and EPEL. If not there, try asking one of them if they can
provide them. As for kernel modules, you should ask ELRepo (
http://elrepo.org ).
