The environment is Compaq CL1850R (dual CPUs, Compaq HW RAID
(Smart-2DH)), so I am _appending_ the following:
apm=off noapic noht nomce nousb nousbstorage pci=biosirq skipddc
pci=biosirq was added per the suggestion of the boot output on the console.
The other parameters have been in use for a long time (since FC3
IIRC), but you are correct, they may have changed.
I usually put ip=, netmask=, gateway=, and dns=, but simplified the
parameter list after the first failure.
