Matthias and Troy, THANKS for your input.

So, since there doesn't appear to be CD/DVD images at this time (or I
am mistaken), for preliminary use (not in production), would one use
boot.iso and point it to a mirror of
<http://ftp1.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/5rolling/i386/SL/>?
