Hi,

I don't think this is a problem with SL6 per se, but when I try to boot after a fresh x86_64 install, GRUB hangs. I'm wondering if it has something to do with me having two hard drives: I have an 80 GB SSD where I installed everything and a 1TB hard drive. It looks to me like the SSD is /dev/sda and the HD is /dev/sdb, so I don't know why GRUB would be getting confused.

What happens is that GRUB starts and only displays the word "GRUB" and hangs, with a blinking cursor. Sometimes I can press Ctrl-Alt-Del to reboot but most of the time I must power cycle.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Scott Nelson
