Hello,
There is a dns outage of ftp.scientificlinux.org and 
ftp1.scientificlinux.org.  We apologize for this.  We are working to get 
this fixed as soon as possible.

ftp2.scientificlinux.org is still working.

The machines are up and still working, so this shouldn't affect any 
current downloads or connections.

If this takes a while, and people need to use the ip addresses, they are

ftp.scientificlinux.org -> 131.225.110.147
ftp1.scientificlinux.org -> 131.225.110.41
