Thanks for the link to the work around.
I can deploy that to my HP dc5850's and HP 6005's with cfengine.

However... I'm still a bit concerned that the src.rpm appears not to 
re-compile under SL5.5. Either I am doing something wrong or there is a 
bug in the spec file/src.rpm.
