Hi,

1. gtk2-theme-switch contains switch application to change gtk layout

and fonts, see Debian gtk2-theme-switch.deb

2. any of your "chrome ways" does not work, just as I said it is a

matter of system's font subsystem (I think so)

3. I made an error littering my system with undeleted ati directories,

so - it occurred that:

a) ATI 10.9 doesn't compile fglrx driver for latest 10.4 kernel

b) ATI 10.9 does compile fglrx driver for former 10.3 kernel

I beg your pardon.

But the damn small fonts are still present. They can't be changed by

any of your suggested ways.

Regards
