Dell is the one to stay away from. Many magic components that cannot
be replaced by parts from local computer store. Uncertain post-warranty
support. If there is a major problem (like every mobo is bad because
of leaky capacitors), they will shaft you (like they shafted the law firm
defending them against law suits about defective mobos with leaky capacitors).
If you are on a budget, your local computer store surely can match
Dell prices with better bog-standard components.
But "No one ever got fired for buying Dell"
