Hello,
I'm a little surprised that I haven't heard anything about the java
plugin for firefox 3.6.
From the articles I've read, it looks like firefox 3.6 and above only
works with the newer java plugin libnpjp2.so (not the older
libjavaplugin_oji.so)
http://www.java.com/en/download/faq/firefox_newplugin.xmlhttp://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Using+the+Java+plugin+with+Firefox
Because of this, I'm updating java-1.6.0-sun-compat to put the new
plugin where firefox can get it. It should be in testing today.
My question is this.
Does anyone know of a way for firefox 3.6 to use the old plugin, incase
some users need to use the old plugin?
Thanks
Troy
