In that case it is odd that my alpine shows your message as containing two
parts (it doesn't claim that they are both "attachments"):
  1    ~48 lines   Text/PLAIN (charset: ISO-8859-1 "Latin 1 (Western Europe)")
  2    557 bytes   Application/PGP-SIGNATURE (Name: "signature.asc"), "OpenPGP digital signature"
