Hello,
The new kernel security update for SL5 has been built and is currently
being tested. This is the first kernel update since Update 5 and we are
being out usual cautious selves.

We plan on pushing this kernel out on Monday, May 17, 2010 if nobody
finds any show stoppers with this kernel.

Two dependencies that are also being tested.
kmod-gfs
kvm (SL 5.4 only)

To test or update

SL5
-------

       yum --enablerepo=sl-testing update kernel\*

or you can download rpm's by hand at

http://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/5rolling/testing/i386/kernel/
http://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/5rolling/testing/x86_64/kernel/

Thanks
Troy Dawson
