Additional info. The kernel in the forthcoming SL5.5 will have
version 1.0.2-k3. The ELRepo project offers a kernel version
independent, kABI-tracking kmod-e1000e package. It is currently at
version 1.1.2.1a-NAPI. Please see http://elrepo.org/tiki/kmod-e1000e
for details.
