The .iso is created when the Update is released.  In this case it is 5.4 .

Since the iso images do not have all the updates released after their 
creation it is good practice to do a

     yum update

after install.  The network install for 5.x only selects the newest 
packages during the install thus there is no need to do a yum update.

The yum update log is in /var/log/ .  Email is sent to root when packages 
are updated during the daily yum cron job.
