I tried to install several programs in my Sci-Linux 4.3, but I could not
due
to various errors in dependency or configuration. I assumed the problem w
as
that I needed to upgrade and that the newest version would have all of th
e
necessary libraries. However, in order to do that I need to download a
CD/DVD burner but I can't due to the sort of errors discussed above. Can
somebody tell me if I am correct in my initial assumption about the
dependency errors, and if so, could somebody please recommend a CD/DVD
burner that is compatible with my version (4.3) of Scientific Linux?

Thank You for Responding:
