YUM - update time of day

YUM is set for automatic update.
There a number of systems are trying to update them selves toware noon EST.  

Looked at YUM manual but there does not appear to be anyway to set the update 
time.

A  major backup is run every night at 2 AM and would like to schedule YUM to 
run after update.
