Now I see. Yes, this is definitely to big for a normal CD-ROM.

# du -csh SL.54.110309.CD.i386.disc7.iso
797M    total

Troy or Connie can maybe have a look at this.

However, I guess for a "normal" installation you don't need disc7. But
I'm only guessing.
