Not the XFS problem, because there is no (kernel-version independent)
xfs kernel module in the Cern or ELrepo. We can try to rewrite our
kernel-module-xfs to be kernel-version independent. But this makes only
little sense, if RHEL 5.4 comes with xfs support.

Troy, would it be easy to rewrite the kernel-module yum plugin in such
way that in case of a kernel update, kernel-module xfs would be updated
before the kernel is updated?

And, the same problem exists in SL4.x. Is there a way to write
kernel-version independent kernel-modules for SL4? Or rewrite
kernel-module yum plugin for SL4?

PS. Why I ask for that: The new livecd install script (for SL4.8 and
SL5.3/4) will be able to install SL to a xfs root filesystem.
