You are quite welcome.  That kmod package was all Alan's effort.  He
would be happy to learn that it worked for you.

Just one additional note.  As I wrote earlier, the reiserfs module
should survive kernel updates throughout the lifespan of SL 5.  If you
don't mind, could you show us the output from:

ls -l `find /lib/modules -name reiserfs.ko`

You will find that reiserfs.ko is now symbolic linked to other
installed kernels through the weak-updates subdirectory.  Upon next
kernel update, the same symlink will be created for the new kernel
automatically.
