The major (only?) supporter of reiserfs in enterprise linux, SUSE, now
prefers ext3 (and presumably ext4 in the future), so I suggest you wean
yourself off reiserfs if/when you can. Hans was pushing/promoting
reiserfs4 and not interested in 3 any more, and now he's in the tender
care of the US govt I don't think anyone's betting the bank on either
version of reiserfs for the future.
