Greetings all,

A user brought this problem to my attention this weekend, and it's
reproducible whether logging into the machine via Linux X or Windows VNC
(only port 22 is open on the machine in question). Local logins are only
used by root and only in virtual consoles.

I've tried to gather all the appropriate information in the attached
text file.

Any ideas? TIA
