Hello, There is a security update for openafs. https://lists.openafs.org/pipermail/openafs-announce/2009/000288.html We have backported the security patch to 1.2.13, which we are using on SL3. It has passed our tests and seems to be working fine. We are putting it in testing in case anyone finds any problems we overlooked. This update, as well as the openafs update for SL4 and SL5 will go into the security errata tomorrow unless something unexpectedly comes up. To test or update SL3 ------- yum -c http://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/30rolling/testing/yum.conf update openafs\* or you can download rpm's by hand at http://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/30rolling/testing/i386/RPMS/openafs/ http://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/30rolling/testing/x86_64/RPMS/openafs/ SL4 ------- yum --enablerepo=sl-testing update openafs\* or you can download rpm's by hand at http://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/40rolling/testing/i386/RPMS/openafs/ http://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/40rolling/testing/x86_64/RPMS/openafs/ SL5 ------- yum --enablerepo=sl-testing update openafs\* or you can download rpm's by hand at http://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/5rolling/testing/i386/openafs/ http://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/5rolling/testing/x86_64/openafs/ Thanks Stephan Wiesand Troy Dawson -- __________________________________________________ Troy Dawson [log in to unmask] (630)840-6468 Fermilab ComputingDivision/LCSI/CSI DSS Group __________________________________________________
