This might be a completely dumb question, but we just got a comment from
one of our users about accessing Rutherford Appleton Lab over AFS:
A ~month ago RAL moved to new AFS servers.
Your CellServDB file should have a line like:
> >rl.ac.uk #Rutherford Appleton Lab, England
> 130.246.183.164 #wallace.cc.rl.ac.uk
Now that should be replaced with:
> >rl.ac.uk #Rutherford Appleton Lab, England
> 130.246.183.203 #afs1.gridpp.rl.ac.uk
> 130.246.183.204 #afs2.gridpp.rl.ac.uk
> 130.246.183.205 #afs3.gridpp.rl.ac.uk
Now of course I have no problem patching that file for our local
systems, but it does appear that it was supplied by the openafs-client
rpm. I wonder who maintains it? Any way to notify upstream of the
change?
thanks,
Graham
