For example:

[root]# which xpdf
/usr/bin/which: no xpdf in (/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/bin)

[root]# yum provides /usr/bin/xpdf
Loading "kernel-module" plugin
Loading "fastestmirror" plugin
Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile
 * epel: mirror.its.uidaho.edu
 * sl-base: ftp.scientificlinux.org
 * sl-security: ftp.scientificlinux.org
