Hello,
Now that we have SL 5.3 out, I'd like to start the new SL Logo contest.
The biggest question I have is how to have people submit their logo's.

I was thinking of creating a mailling list called scientific-linux-logo.
Or we could have people just send directly to the
scientific-linux-users mailling list. But some of the attachments might
be a little big.

Any other idea's?

And, how does this writeup sound?
-------------------------
Hello,
Now that SL 5.3 is released, we should have some time to have our new
Scientific Linux Logo Contest. The rules are based on the feedback I
received when we last discussed this.

Rules:
- License: The logo musted be licensed GPL v2 or the applicable Creative
Common's License.
- Format: The logo must be in SVG format.
- Theme: 6
- Theme: It must be something scientific..
- Overall: It should be a logo and not a picture. You should be able to
see the logo from across a room and know that it is the Scientific Linux
logo.
- Timeline: All pictures should be submitted by May 1, 2009. The winner
will be announced May 9, 2009.

Preferences:
(These are just preferences. Ideas to get you started.)
- Color Scheme: somewhat the same at the previous logo's
- Design: a Carbon, bohr-style atom, with 6 electrons and 6 protons.
- Overall: an updated version of what we currently have
-------------------

I'd like to get this started tomorrow if possible.
Troy
