Hi Urs,
From my testing, yes, all of the ipw3945 stuff (kernel module, deamon, and
firmware) are obsolete with the iwlwifi 3945.
I have tested this on a 3945 system, and it ran great, right out of the box,
with only the iwlwifi firmware and the driver that is in the kernel.
But I don't want to take the ipw3945 out of the distribution because if I do,
I'm sure we'll find an exception. I've just taken them out of the comps.xml
file, and hense out of the installer.
